Alexa + Landon // A Cowtown Wedding // Wichita Wedding Photographer

She giggled with her friends as they tied her shoes. She was giddy, yet well collected. As they tousled her hair and did all of the finishing touches that friends do, all she could do was smile. Alexa was completely content with the thought of spending the rest of her life with a man who made her feel whole. She was ready to be whole that day. Ready to start her forever. So she did.

He walked down confidently to his place at the end of the aisle to wait for his future bride. He smiled with joy as the children they hold so close carried signs down the aisle. “Get Ready,” one said. “Here comes Mommy,” read the other. Landon could hardly contain his excitement to marry this woman. All of their friends and family rose and he knew that he was moments away from finally seeing her. Their mock “first look” gave nothing away of what she looked like in that dress, likewise gave her no inkling of an idea of his handsomeness all spiffied up, and that was just like he’d planned. Not even for a second did they want to taint a moment they believed was sacred when she’d walk down that aisle. Then she did. <3

HER STORY:

He had added me on facebook randomly one day. I had never met this guy before in my life. I actually felt bad because I thought that maybe I had met him at a bar one night or something and just forgot…not the case…anyway! He messaged me and I did my best not to be a complete sarcastic jerk. So, we chatted a bit and then he gave me his number and told me to text him if I wanted. For some crazy reason I did and we made plans to go to the zoo with our kids (we each have a boy and they’re two months apart). I have to admit once I got to the zoo I started freaking out and thinking “what if this guy is fake and is actually some old creepy man who is going to kidnap me?!” And after these thoughts I still walked up to the main entrance of the zoo with my son and there he was with his son standing there and you could say it was a moment that changed my life, instantly. As soon as I saw him i knew that day was going to be a little different than I had originally planned. From that day on, we just kind of knew we would be playing important roles in each others’ lives.

HIS STORY:

Well, I saw her facebook profile on a mutual friend’s wall and thought she was hott so I requested to be her friend. After that we started talking via messenger and then text. We talked quite a bit before actually meeting. I really liked her from the day I first met her and as time went on I saw my future with her start forming and I actually missed her when we weren’t spending time together. We had been dating for about a month when she invited me to her violin solo recital. It was a pretty big deal. She wore this big blue dress and played her violin in front of about 50 people for an hour. She had so much passion when she played and that’s when I fell in love with her. She puts so much passion into everything, her music, her teaching, and our family. I absolutely love her for this.
