Bri & Evan | The Big Red Barn at Highland Meadows Golf Course Wedding

On an unusually warm afternoon, especially for Colorado, Brianne welcomed the mimosas, laughter, and kind words that all of her bridesmaids showered her with. In just hours, she knew that would be seeing the man she’s adored for years, the father of her two beautiful sons and on this day, she’d be able to call him her husband… finally!

Brianne, in her bridal robe, carefully put on her shoes in a peaceful moment to herself.  When she was ready, her mother carefully helped Bri into her dress, and slowly (thoughtfully) zipped up the intricate lace gown. Not even one of Brianne’s bridesmaids had seen her dress, and she wanted them to be surprised with the final outcome. As they turned around, tears welled up in their sweet and caring eyes. They, as well as we, couldn’t believe how amazing Brianne looked. You could feel the happiness in her wanting to burst, but it wouldn’t. Not yet.

Evan enjoyed drinks with his best, sharing stories and bantering back and forth with the men that would stand by his side later in the early evening. As the crew got dressed, laughter was the only thing to be heard. You’d be surprised how many men don’t know how to tie ties, or which side a boutonniere goes on. They all find this to be quite comical, as do we. Evan finishes the final touches on himself and welcomes his sons with open arms. It’s bro time.

If we could all enjoy the sweet moments in time and cherish these small passings, each wedding day would be as joyous as this.

As Bri and her father walked down the aisle, Evan boasted inside and Brianne’s happiness was finally able to escape. She was beaming. There was laughter, There were tears. There was emotion… and it was beautiful.

Brianne and Evan, as you embark on the rest of your journey together with your little ones, remember the sweet moments you shared. Even the littlest of moments are worth remembering. The way Evan smiled so hard when he first saw you, Bri. Evan, the purest of nervous laughter that Bri couldn’t hold in when she also first saw you. These moments, I hope the two of you hold on to. Your happiness is contagious and makes all who are around you want to feel that, forever. We wish you both a lifetime of that.. happiness.

xoxo
