Rebecca & Michael | Picnic at the Park Engagement

Michael, a Missouri man, left the comfort of his home and transferred to this windy city for his career. It was at his church that he was in need of catering. It was this catering order that lead him to Chick-fil-A. Last but not least, it’s Chick-fil-A that lead him to Rebecca. Rebecca was working at Chick-fil-A as many things, one being the coordinator of catering.

That’s when he laid eyes on her. Long after he’d left CFA, Rebecca lingered on his mind. In the weeks to follow, Michael would find any excuse possible to go to Chick-Fil-A to see her.

Now if you’ve met Michael, you know that he’s happy, he’s kind, but most of all he’s goofy. He’s that guy that walks in a room and says or does something just to make someone laugh, even if it’s just one person.

When it came to asking Rebecca out on a first date, the guy you wouldn’t expect to be nervous… was nervous. But he did, and she said yes, and they ate Panera and talked and talked and I imagine there was a lot of giggling coming from Rebecca’s side of the table.

Many more dates came to follow. Many dates, their first kiss, the awaited “I love you”, and a proposal.

And in 98 days from their engagement session, their wedding. We can’t wait to capture it!

xo, AA
