You guys! Brittany was truly like the best old friend to us and Eric was absolutely the perfect match for her. The way the two complimented one another was undeniable. After meeting Brittany’s family when we photographed her sister, Bailey, and her senior photos last year, we all simply hit it off. (I even ended up having Ashley K. pull a wasp stinger out of my backside in their bathroom!) We were SO elated when Brittany contacted us to photograph her Pretty Prairie, Kansas wedding at The Collingwood Barn. Safe to say, we absolutely adore these guys.
Collingwood Barn is unlike any venue that we’ve seen in the Central Kansas area. Enjoying the vast open fields and the gorgeous neutral barn, it is perfect for almost any wedding reception. Tie that in with photographing a wedding with a color scheme like this, I promise you that your dreams have came true. The way the blues tie in with the blush which all tie in with the deep cranberry reds. I could not have waited another freaking day to blog this wedding. 🙂 It was the first day of nice weather we’d had in awhile and the wind decided to be a friend, not foe and we probably shouted one too many “hell yeah’s” because of it.
What’s there left to say? If you didn’t know already… we lah-lah-loooove wind!
However with that wind came some intensely cold temperatures but for a late February wedding, we were actually very lucky! Enough talk about the weather! Let’s get to this wedding! Enjoy!
