The five hour drive to Forth Worth was, well to be honest, a little bit less than a breeze. (ha!) If you haven’t driven South down Interstate 35 in awhile – especially over a holiday like Memorial Day – just take our word for it and take the smaller highways. 😉
We’d do it in a heart-freaking-beat all over again, though!
We’d arrived on Friday, the day before the wedding, to sneak over to the venue and check out the happenings and in this case, the 360 degree view of hills… and we were above them all. The path up, we were unsure if we were at the right place. We HAD to be. I’d seen Sarah’s photos of the ridge. All I knew was it was up, so up we went.
The morning of the wedding, we packed our bags in our lovely little AirBnB trailer… on a lake… with goats! Yes. Goats! As you can already tell, we were having a freaking excellent morning. The day never flipped from that either.
The second we walked in to the bride’s room, we were greeted with, I’m not kidding you, the happiest bride I’ve ever seen, and by now we’ve seen a lot of brides. We were immediately welcomed like family. It felt like we were supposed to be there, almost like it was the way Sarah + Josh’s wedding was designed, way before even they knew it. I can’t explain it but it was simply right.
The entire day went off without a hitch. Sabrina with The Perfect Plan Events coordinated and designed nothing short of a breathtaking ceremony and reception and those FLORALS! I live, breathe, die, scream, cry for florals like these. Vivienne & Vine knocked it out of the park.
Sarah + Josh had a dream wedding day surrounded by their family, their friends from near and far, and what felt like all of the love in the world. I could write pages on the happenings of the day, but I’m going to let the photos tell the story.
xx
