As the busiest season of our lives comes to a close, we’re able to finally take a moment and appreciate all of the beauty that we’ve been able to capture through the last three… maybe even four months and I’m (we’re) astonished! It’s almost like we’ve been running in auto-pilot for 15 weeks. I’ve never been more proud, and I know I’m speaking for both Ashley and I when I say that. Some of our best work has came out of the stress.
We didn’t know where to even begin sharing weddings and sessions again, so it seemed more than appropriate to share the wedding that we shot one month ago, TODAY!
When meeting Kayla well over a year ago, for the very first time, we clicked right away. Connecting over handling our men overseas and then of course, Kayla’s love for Knolla’s Pizza (hey, hey!) we knew the group of us would be a perfect match and their wedding day was the perfect example of just that.
The showers swept over the streets of the city with a dense mist, the color of storm clouds. Much like every other November day (because every November day had weather just like this) we embraced it with excited giddiness at the possibilities. From their entrance to their reception at Noah’s Event Venue… by Helicopter might I add, all the way to the end of the night sharing their first dance and final dances of the evening, it was nothing short of Kayla + Travis.
Kayla + Travis, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us be the two to document your last moment as fiance’s and your first moments as husband and wife. We wish you nothing but the best in your months and years to come as you being this journey together. We hope that while life swirls you through it, these photos can take you away from the hustle and bustle to remember each of these fleeting moments for years to come.
A big ole thanks to the team at Noah’s Event Venue for always making wedding day run ever so seamlessly and to Moore Flowers Wichita for all of the pretty florals to photograph!
Congratulations and enjoy!
