Man, oh man! We’ve been itching to share this wedding in full for months and before the year came to and end, we’re SO excited to be sharing it AND sharing the news that it’s been featured on one of our all-time-favorite wedding blogs, Junebug Weddings!

You probably remember Erica + Steve from their bus-turned camper engagement session from this past Summer and have probably been equally as impatient to see how their wedding came together. From Erica’s knack for style and DIY, to the amazing vendors that came together to bring her vision to life, it’s absolutely no surprise Junebug loved it as much as we do.

The day would have been easily put together if it wasn’t for April with Ambiance Events putting it all together the day of. Erica’s boho accents coordinated perfectly with the lush warmth of the Wichita Botanica Chinese Garden. They even ordered their florals from Valley Floral Wholesale Flowers and put together awesome centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres to pull the entire day together. I am such a sucker for Eucalyptus and there was no shortness of this gorgeous greenery.

And guys. The couch from their camper-bus… it made an appearance at their wedding. Instead of sitting at their head-table for dances and toasts, they opted to listen to the words of their best friends on this couch, blanketed by the summer air AND share their first dance with the live band, all on the patio.

Basically all you have to do is say “Live music,” and we’ll say “Where?!”

After sneaking out with Erica + Steve for their sunset portraits escaping to sneak them in a few stolen moments alone, they pulled out their box of costumes, threw on some wigs, and shook their tail-feathers until the sun came down with their loved ones surrounding them.

This is one of those weddings where I must end with, “You should have been there.” It was a day and night that we’ll never forget and go down as one of our favorite weddings of all time to ever have had the honor to capture.

Erica, Steve, we are so stoked to see your wedding featured on Junebug. We are beyond honored and still so grateful to have been the ones that you’ve chosen to document the beautiful day that you started your forever. To starting out as strangers, to leaving as truly friends, we can’t wait to see where life takes you both and to continue to run into you both. Can’t wait to see you next and to see how your wedding day can impact the world of adventurous loves.
