You guys! November is here! I’ve been waiting for November since August! Thanksgiving, sweaters, boots, DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME which means I get my life back! 🙂 I love working, but I love to watch Scandal and to binge watch Netflix in the evenings until I fall into a deeeeep slumber at 4am and get to sleep in until 10am. The nights of edit, email, upload, order, appointment, order, sleep (notice there’s not time to eat in there… my body is super mad at me. It hardly remembers what a real meal is like.) COFFEE. IS. CAFFEINE. Not food.

But none of that matters anymore, because it’s November and November is my Golden Gate.

Now, are you ready for a super sweet and touching story? 

This isn’t your normal Anniversary Session where your Husband and Wife enjoy their evening together and remember why they fell in love. No. This is an Anniversary Session where this sweet couple wanted so badly to have wedding portraits. 

Yes, you heard me. WEDDING portraits.

They were so sweet and we loved meeting them. We loved even more being able to have the chance to give them photos they dreamed of… she dreamed of. A photo to hang above the mantle. A photo of him to put on her nightstand. A photo album to look back on their FIVE-YEAR anniversary. 

She went five years without this. Five years with memories that weren’t her original vision for her wedding day. Five years ago, her wedding happened, yes. However, there are no photos of her wedding day. Their venue fell through last minute. Literally… LAST-MINUTE and they ended up getting married at a church that neither had any affiliation to. It’s still their wedding day. We didn’t recreate that day but we gave them photos to fill those empty spaces in their home.
