It was a day meant to happen from the beginning. Kathryn & Cole, your wedding day was magical and we were honored… absolutely honored to capture it. You were surrounded by loved ones and lifelong friends. You were drowning in laughter and joy. There wasn’t a worry in the world. It was perfect.

The Bride’s Story:

The first time Cole and I ever met he was a sophomore at Hutchinson Community College and I was a freshman at Kansas State University. I went to Hutch one weekend to visit my brother who was also going to school at Hutch and we ended up going to Coles house for a house party that night. At this time I was dating another guy so nothing came of that night but that is the very first time I ever laid eyes on Cole Mitchell. Later that same year, in February, Cole came to K-State for the annual rodeo. I had no idea he was in town but we ended up running into each other through some mutual friends that we had. We hung out Friday and Saturday night and had a great time. But nothing came out of that weekend either. I went on dating a different guy through my sophomore year of college and Cole actually came to K-State to finish his last two years of college. All throughout my sophomore year, (his junior year) we were in the same group of friends and hung out ALL the time but we truly were just friends. I can remember ALWAYS telling my roommate how cute I thought Cole was but it was nothing more than that. Then the summer after my sophomore year I broke up with the other guy. I was in downtown Wichita for some drinks with my girls one night where I randomly ran into Cole, not knowing he was even in Wichita that weekend. SUPPOSEDLY, I was a little tipsy and I called him multiple times after I saw him so I could try to meet up with him again. From there on Cole and I started texting and talking. I ended up “telling” him we should go on a date so a few weekends before school was starting again we went on our first date to River City Brewery. It was great and from then on we were inseparable.
