The five hour drive to Forth Worth was, well to be honest, a little bit less than a breeze. (ha!) If you haven’t driven South down Interstate 35 in awhile – especially over a holiday like Memorial Day – just take our word for it and take the smaller highways. 😉 We’d do it in […]
Rebeka met Nathaniel and her world was turned upside down. Nathaniel was unlike any other man that she’d ever been interested in. As far back as her fourth grade boyfriend… I promise you. Nathaniel was different, and as one of her best friends, I wasn’t going to love him easily. I met him. He was alright – but she’s my best friend. Is he good enough for one of my closest friends? Will he fuel her to be herself, even with her endless collection of watches?
Yes, he is. He’s more than perfect for her. The way he looks at her. The way he selflessly gets drenched in the rain so she stays dry – this is hardly a joke – and wasn’t just for the photos. When it comes to Rebeka, Nathaniel is absolutely selfless and he loves her for every part of her being.
If y’all didn’t know, I grew up in a little suburb of Houston, Texas for the entirety of my childhood. Only at age 13 did I spend an entire year here in Kansas, so being down there again.. that’s my roots! Rebeka, this lovely, newly-engaged lady has been one of the closest to my heart over the course of 15 years. After moving away, we grew apart but stayed in touch, and over the last seven or so years, I see her every chance I get and I was SO honored to take their engagement photos (even in the rain!)
Nathaniel & Rebeka drove down from Austin, Texas to have an engagement session in Cypress, Texas and even though it rained and rained and rained and rained – we pushed through! With the help of Rebecca, an absolute dear friend of mine holding an umbrella and chasing me around, we got the most gorgeously cozy shots.
