Happy Wednesday guys! It’s time to wrap up something we started a couple of weeks ago and that is Carolyn and Justin’s engagement session!

This was one of those sessions that I never wanted to end. Carolyn, being a dear friend of mine, was of course a blast to be around and the way her and Justin balance each other out is literally perfection. Justin (my Justin! Carolyn and I’s men have the same name, but luckily we’re used to it!) and I were so elated to hang out with Carolyn and Justin throughout the evening and have the best chicken nuggs afterwards in downtown Kansas City.

Engagement sessions are surely becoming my favorite thing to photograph. A rad engagement session that’s planned to perfection. This my friends, is the most perfect champagne pink wedding dress that I’ve ever seen. It’s the Mila Marlo Ford gown and it’s literally breathtaking. The moment Carolyn changed into it, I couldn’t believe my eyes and knew exactly the vision that we wanted to take!

Carolyn’s first two outfits can be found at the KC Garment District near the Power and Light District in Downtown Kansas City! The Garment District is home to many independent boutiques and local brands. I’ve visited a few times and can honestly say I don’t know how I don’t just buy the entire store?!
